Active Adventure Walk

Following the ‘Learn to Nordic Walk Course’, this walk provides you with an opportunity to increase your speed, while maintaining the proper technique. This walk is ideal for those who want to improve their fitness and health, whilst being outdoors in a beautiful setting. 

Tuesday 1-2pm. Meet in Dimmingsdale, Ramblers Retreat car park, ST10 4BU alternating with meet at Froghall Wharf, ST10 2HL

An evening walk is the perfect way to end a busy working day, as it is an outdoors workout, which provides an opportunity to improve health and fitness.
It allows you to work your muscles that you do not use much during the day. This can help in relieving stiffness and lower back pain and in relaxing your body and mind. 
All this makes you sleep better as you will feel relaxed and free of any stress or tension.

​​​Brisk and Burning walks    

Nordic Walking can quickly build your general fitness, but adding some specific exercise drills will help you to perform better and keep improving your fitness.
In these walks we will do more interval sessions (high speed Nordic Walking followed by rest) and more hill drills in combination with muscular strength and endurance exercises. But we will also pay attention to balance and coordination in a variety of exercises.

​​​Low Impact Nordic Walking/ Well being walks  

A gentle safe way to walk yourself fitter! These walks include exercises that help with flexibility, balance and strength whilst using poles to improve general fitness and increase joint mobility. 
Suitable for those who want to build up to the longer or more vigorous walks or may have concerns about their health.

This is a walk on footpaths and over stiles through fields around Denstone Hall Farm Shop crossing the Staffordshire countryside. 
Come and enjoy this Monday morning walk to get an active start at the beginning of your week. 
Using gear 1 and 2​

Monday 11-12am. Meet at Denstone Hall Farm Shop, 

Workout walk

Using gears 2 and 3, working through the gears for progression and endurance. With drills and exercises.
Monday 8.30-10am. Meet at: Abbotsholme School car park, Rocester, ST14 5BS
