Nordic Walking can quickly build your general fitness, but adding some specific exercise drills will help you to perform better and keep improving your fitness.
In these walks we will do more interval sessions (high speed Nordic Walking followed by rest) and more hill drills in combination with muscular strength and endurance exercises. But we will also pay attention to balance and coordination in a variety of exercises.

These walks are suitable for people who would like to start Nordic Walking to get fit but have no/ little walking experience. We start Nordic Walking on the Tissington Trail as this is fairly level and even. Gradually, as people get fitter, we will do longer distances and will incorporate fields and hills in our walks.
